IRF President Stephanie Harris was named on of this year’s Top 25 Influencers of the Meetings Industry, selected by M&C editors. The article notes that Stephanie’s first year running the IRF didn’t exactly go as she had envisioned. She and the board had laid out an ambitious plan to take the IRF into 2025 – and then, she says, “everything got turned upside down.” She shifted her focus to the immediate needs of the recognition industry, looking for ways the IRF could support incentive professionals through the crisis. The IRF focused on this objective with a robust delivery of research, education, and community building. The IRF assembled panels of experts from the airline, gift card, and DMC industries for a series of successful webinars. The IRF released research that addressed the impact of COVID-19 on the incentives industry, including three pulse surveys and new research.
