Our talents have been on the road and on the screen representing MCI USA at industry events this summer. Here’s a roundup of virtual and in-person events where MCI made its mark:

ACCESSE21: A Virtual Connection, hosted by The Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives, took place July 28 – 29, and MCI USA was a Silver Sponsor. Amy Burke, Association Solutions, and Carrie Hartin, SS&S, engaged with association professionals serving scientific organizations. As part of the sponsorship, MCI was a sponsor of the “Refocus Your Financial Reserves: How to Plan for the Future” session on July 28 where we received specific recognition.

Cvent Connect took place August 1 – 4 at Caesars Forum and virtually. SEM&I’s Shawn Pierce, Chris Williams, and Jeff Moore attended the live event more to meet with Cvent tech leadership and review upgrades to their platform. MCI also had a virtual booth, hosted by Ross Sawai and Bill Lemmon, which generated good interest and qualified leads to follow-up post event.

The ASAE 2021 Annual Meeting took place August 13 – 18. While the conference was virtual, registrants could attend one of many Community Pop-UPs at select cities across the nation. These half-day, in-person events provided attendees with networking, programming, and industry discussions. Ross Sawai attended the Dallas Pop-UP with an attendance of approximately 30-40. Ross noted that there is the pent-up energy for everyone to get back out in person and engage outside of video. Amy Burke attended the Washington DC with over 300 attendees. The DC Pop-UP Keynote was Capricia Penavic Marshall, former Chief of Protocol for the Obama Administration.
