More than 20 MCI talents from the SEM&I and SS&S teams were in Atlanta, Georgia, for the 2021 American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) National Magnet Conference & Pathway to Excellence Conference, November 8 – 13. The event exceeded attendance goals with 7,000 in-person attendees, plus an additional 3,000 virtual attendees. MCI handled event management, lead retrieval, registration, and sales.
ANCC National Magnet Conference is the official annual conference of the prestigious Magnet Recognition Program, serving as both a celebration of accomplishment for newly designated organizations and a showcase of best nursing practices for the Magnet community. The ANCC Pathway to Excellence, normally held in the Spring, was held in conjunction with Magnet Conference this year. Nurses from around the world gathered to immerse themselves in a wide range of educational and innovative sessions and to network with peers from diverse backgrounds. Highlights included:
- A spectacular Welcome Party at the Georgia Aquarium
- More than 70 educational and innovative sessions
- Three powerful and inspiring guest speakers
- Over 150 poster sessions celebrating the work of nurses
- Over 230 exhibitors including 50+ sponsors
- 42,400 sq ft of exhibit space
The SS&S team was proud to report that they exceeded the 2021 SponEx revenue goal – and they re-booked over 60% of the show floor onsite.
