MCI USA’s Sales Solutions team recognizes outstanding sales talents at the end of each year. Let’s reflect back for a moment on the awesomeness of 2022.  

AE of the Year: The Account Executive of the Year recognition is delivered to a sales leader that exceeds expectations… including exceeding assigned sales quotas, serving as a leader on the team, and overall crushing it (a technical term in sales). For 2022, we recognized two talents: 

Chris Martin: Chris had a stellar 2022. For our sales client RAPS, Chris grew revenue by 40% year over year. He landed 20 net new customers, generating more than 200K in new business. Chris also led sales for NTHP for most of this year, helping us to find new revenue in a difficult market. His greatest achievement for 2022 was tied to our second largest sales client, ABA. Chris launched three new sales entities for ABA and overall grew sales from 2021 to 2022 by 67%… that is $700K more revenue generated by Chris for just ABA than last year.   

Not only did Chris deliver on his numbers, but he also provided help, support, and insights to help others on our team improve their sales skills. Chris is a leader on the team and his willingness to jump in to help others be successful is what makes a true AE of the Year. 

Cate David: Cate stepped up in a big way in 2022, overachieving and delivering results across three distinctly different clients in ANA, OCEANS and JLL.  Cate delivered over $800K in Sponsorship packages for ANA, helping deliver over $3.4M in total Exhibit and Sponsorship revenue.  This represented nearly 23% growth for one of MCI USA’s largest clients.  Cate was also able to effectively manage her time to deliver 13% revenue growth on OCEANS and a whopping 24% on newcomer JLL. 

Cate’s ability to deliver revenue is unquestioned, but what makes her even more valuable is her thoughtful, creative, and energetic approach to her customers.  She is seen as a sales leader by her peers and is now prepared to grow in her role in 2023. 

Rookie of the Year: This recognition is given to a sales talent in their first year on the team that again, technical term, crushes it. For 2022, Christina Kardon was our Rookie of the Year.  

Christina joined our team in 2022 and began her work focusing on new business development for ASNT. She then took on a complicated launch project for NCTE and generated more than 420,000 in less than three months.
