1. Can you tell us more about your role at MCI and what your department does specifically?
Our team focuses on business travel for corporate clients that includes airport transportation, air reservations, hotel accommodations, and car rentals. I manage customer success and relations by understanding how to achieve customer goals. Benchmarking, measuring, analyzing, and reporting key performance indicators help us manage the companies’ travel guidelines. I build internal relationships to drive customer and end-user requirements. I also maintain and expand knowledge of current and pre-released products and services.

Our dedicated team of travel counselors also plays a role internally to the different MCI USA divisions. We assist our internal MCI clients with staff travel, the Incentive Department with large incentive groups, and our Meetings Department with group reservations.

2. What is your favorite (or the most interesting) part about your job?
Solving problems.

3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would like the opportunity to visit Ireland. And if the timing was perfect, to see a U2 concert.

4. What is your must-have item in your carry-on bag?
My grey leopard shawl and travel documents.

5. What is your favorite way to earn a gold star?
I find it very rewarding when our clients recognize our counselors for their excellence in service.
