“Snow wasn’t the only wonder in May at the Gaylord Rockies!” 

The MCI USA production team, led by production ace, Adam Haas, was charged with unveiling the re-branding of the powerhouse retail association, PRSM (now Connex) at their National Conference through a “shock and awe” attendee experience – and we delivered!

The scope of work included creative direction and show design, custom video animation and savvy, unexpected social media marketing. The highlight of the week was the opening General Session going to “black out” and the attendees being tricked into thinking there was an audio-visual mishap. As three jumbo screens re-loaded content, the audience was immersed in a video that took over the Gaylord Grand Ballroom accentuated by cold sparklers and inventive light programming. For the finale, the Denver Bronco drumline took the stage as sparklers ignited to raise the roof and guide the newly informed crowd to a champagne celebration. We knew we nailed it when our discerning and experienced client was brought to tears with excitement and pride. 

The most exciting success was the internal collaboration that led to this flawless program. Just when Valerie Mortimer, SEM&I Global Account Director, thought she had uncovered every opportunity to partner with Connex, she was introduced to Adam and his portfolio of creative production expertise. The rest is history…or shall we say revenue!  Next year is Connex’s 25th Anniversary, and Valerie has already received the “go-ahead” from Connex’s CEO for Adam to lead creative direction next year at Gaylord Palm. Mic drop. Pink is an attitude!
