Erin Nally

Senior Marketing Coordinator, Sales Solutions & Services, Baltimore Office

1. What does your job entail?

I work in the marketing department of the Sales Solutions & Services division. I am the marketing contact for nine associations, and basically, I support the sales team with selling efforts in any capacity that they need – helping with media kit and event prospectus websites, marketing emails, event materials and promotions, ad and analytics support and then bigger pieces such as leveraging our CRM and marketing automation systems to maintain and optimize email marketing campaigns, forms on landing pages to capture inbound leads, and lead scoring to measure prospect engagement.

I started here in 2016, but before that I was an inside sales representative, and that sales experience has come in handy in this position.

2. I hear you have some pretty exciting personal news to share…

Yes, I’m pregnant! We are expecting a little boy in August. My husband and I are very much looking forward to being parents and starting our own traditions. We’re just over the moon.

3. Congrats! You’ve got a lot of life changes coming in addition to the pandemic changes. What’s been the most difficult part of adjusting to everything?

I really miss being able to spend time with friends and family, especially during this time in my life. It’s been a weird transition, going from being in the office surrounded by people every day and being able to freely make dinner or weekend plans with friends, to being at home all the time. I always imagined being able to spend a lot of quality time with friends and family during my pregnancy and today’s environment has basically eliminated that.

4. What’s been keeping you sane during the quarantine?

My husband and I have really tried to take advantage of the additional time we have together and with our dogs. We’ve also been able to really focus on all of the things we want to get done around the house and prepare for our little guy to join us in August.

5. What do you miss most about coming into the office?

The talents. I think the people I work with daily are a great group. We all support one another and want to see everyone succeed. With working from home, you miss out on the lively atmosphere that the office provides.
