Sandra Greenwell

Senior Accountant & Salesforce Administrator, SS&S, Baltimore Office

1. Can you tell us a little bit about your role?
I’m a senior accountant, responsible for project and payroll reconciliations, as well as other financial reporting. I am also the Salesforce Administrator, which encompasses everything from user setup and system maintenance, to working with the different departments to identify inefficiencies, implement processes and keep projects moving forward. I’ve been working here for six years and I’m very happy here.

2. What did you do before you started here?
I am from Arizona, where I earned a degree in electronic engineering. I moved here [Baltimore] in 2004 and took a job as a bookkeeper with a local construction company, because a friend thought I’d be good at it. Within a year I was promoted to assistant controller.

3. What would people find you doing outside of work?
My life revolves around my kids! I have an 11-year-old, an eight-year old and a six-year old, so you would probably find me taking my kids to sports practices or dance class or just hanging out with my family and finding stuff for us to do outside.

4. What would most people in the company be surprised to know about you?
Most people in this office know, but everyone is always surprised to learn that I have a potbellied pig as a pet. Her name is Chops, and she’s about 200 pounds. She lives in the house with us and has her own closet. I also have a small dog named Greta. She’s a miniature pincher/poodle mix.

5. You already have a unique pet, but is there any other animal in the world you would love to have as a pet if you could?
I’m a big fan of tiny lemurs, the lorises and bush babies, so I would love to own one of them!
