Finance Operations & Events Manager at Black Flower Agency

1. Describe what you do in your role at Black Flower.  

As a finance, operations and events manager, I mainly focus on our agency’s finances and manage all the ins and outs every day. From invoices to payments and contract reviews to budget reconciliations and reporting, you name it, I do it. I also jump in to support the event teams whenever I can. It’s fun to be onsite with the team!  

2. What keeps you motivated in your job?  

Being the team’s best ally to keep everything rolling, especially on crazy days!  

3. When you’re not working, what could we find you doing? 

After spending the whole day behind a computer, I love being out with friends for drinks/dinner or taking a dance class (or two).  

4. What’s something coworkers would be surprised to learn about you? 

I do not own a television and haven’t for over a decade. I hear some TV series are amazing, but I usually would rather be out with friends.  

5. What’s your favorite underrated thing to do or place to go in New York?    

Throughout the summer, there are great movies projected in beautiful parks throughout the city. I also love taking a ferry out to the beach on weekends. It’s so great!
