Healthy Competition in McLean

The McLean office’s Health & Safety Committee hosted the second annual “Chef vs. Chef” cooking competition. For this year’s Summer Sala-bration, talents were invited to prepare their favorite salad for an office-wide taste test. After much chopping, tossing, tasting, and voting, the Sala-bration winners were announced:

  • Best Green Salad: Roasted Asparagus Salad – Barb Collura
  • Best Bean Salad: Beans, Beans, Good for Your Heart – Emilie Mendia
  • Best Pasta Salad: Tomato Feta Pasta Salad – Alexandra Long
  • Best Fruit Salad: Very Berry Fruit Salad – Amanda Lampuri
  • Best Miscellaneous Salad: Mexican Corn Salad – Amy Lotz
  • Salad to Recreate at Home: Spicy Watermelon Salad – Rebecca Flick
  • Best Overall Salad: Tomato Feta Pasta Salad – Alexandra Long
