Talk about going the extra mile! Jenlene Nowak, Director of Fundraising for the Interstitial Cystitis Association recently ran as a “pacer” for an ICA board member’s 100-mile fundraising run in Ohio. As part of her pacer role, Jenlene ran two legs of the 100-mile race (one was 13.5 miles at 6:42pm for 3 hours and 34 minutes, and the other was 11.42 miles at 1:52am for 3 hours and 25 minutes in almost complete darkness). That’s 25 miles, mostly in the dark, for a great cause.
Jenlene wrote a great blog about participating in this “ICA Your Way” fundraising adventure that you can read here.
