Throughout the month of March, Association Solutions client the MSA Coalition raised awareness of multiple system atrophy through a variety of events and activities. The MCI USA Creative team developed an engaging MSA Awareness Month video that explained this rare neurodegenerative disease and encouraged viewers to spread awareness of the disease during Multiple System Atrophy Awareness Month. The MCI USA marketing team boosted this video via social media channels – already reaching over 12,000 by the middle of the month.
The Coalition hosted an MSA patient panel, an informative medical webinar, and an interactive Q&A session with expert medical professionals. An MSA Awareness Month Padlet Board provided a platform for members of the MSA community, both patients and care partners alike, to share their journeys before, during, and after a diagnosis of MSA.
The MSA Coalition Board has been happy with the MCI USA team’s efforts to promote MSA awareness this month and have noticed a spike in calls to the MSA Coalition’s support hotline. One board member shared the importance of the work we all do stating that “bringing awareness of this disease to an audience is important, and what we are doing is going to make a difference in these people’s lives.”
