MCI Dream Day is a special day set aside for dreaming to encourage big thinking, giving back, and building community. Each year during July, talents in MCI offices across the globe celebrate Dream Day in creative, meaningful ways.
The McLean office started their Dream Day by picking up trash as part of its Adopt A Highway community clean up program. Then it was a fun team lunch – full of socializing, games, and a nod to MCI’s European roots – at the Tysons Biergarten.
All of MCI USA’s offices are hosting Dream Day celebrations, so look for updates from New York, Miami, Dallas, and Baltimore in next issue of the OneMCIUSA newsletter.
Baltimore Office Makes Donations to Local Homeless Shelter
Aisha France, Senior Traffic Coordinator, (right) drops off MCI Baltimore’s delivery with Empower4Life staff.
In Baltimore’s Community Outreach Committee’s latest effort to build community, they volunteered with Empower4Life. Planning and organizing the delivery of goods to their partner homeless shelters is just one aspect of what Empower4Life does. In May and June, talents Carrie Hartin, Andrew Delgatti, and Aisha France picked up boxes of a variety of produce, baked goods, and even flowers from Trader Joe’s and delivered them to a homeless shelter in Rosedale, MD. The boxes were heavy and the humidity was high, but they were all happy for the opportunity to help an organization doing great work in their community in addition to getting a great workout!
Bouncing and Zorbing in Texas!
Sometimes it really is just fun and games. The MCI USA Dallas office braved the heat and had a great time at the company picnic earlier this month. Thank you to the MCI USA SEM&I Social Committee!
