Every Monday, a group of McLean talents gathers at noon for a 3-mile walk. It’s always great to get some fresh air, catch up with colleagues and refocus our minds for the afternoon workload.  Everyone is welcome on the walk whenever they can make it, and their efforts are also publicly rewarded. Following each walk, talents can add a sticker to their “tracking cards” prominently displayed in the kitchen.

Walking is one of the easiest ways to improve your health. Regular physical activity like walking can greatly reduce the risk of conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer — and it’s more fun when we do it together.
