Every Monday and Thursday, a group of McLean talents would gather at noon for a 3-mile walk. Now that we’re social distancing, the walking group goes for solitary walks to get some fresh air and refocus their minds for the afternoon workload indoors. Everyone is welcome on the walks whenever they can make it, and their efforts are publicly rewarded. Following each walk, talents can add a sticker to their “tracking cards” (which used to be prominently displayed in office kitchen), can now be digitally rewarded. They also can keep in touch in the Microsoft Teams “Clubbing” chat while sharing walk club selfies and nature pics.
