RESOLVE Hosts Its Largest State Advocacy Day

AM&C client RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association hosted its largest State Advocacy Day ever on February 27, 2019. One hundred advocates – patients and professionals, grassroots and grasstops – traveled to Albany, NY to ask their state lawmakers to support the Fair Access to Fertility Treatment Act (FAFTA). This life-changing legislation – which RESOLVE helped draft and hopes to pass in 2019 – would add coverage for in vitro fertilization (IVF) to New York’s current insurance law, along with fertility preservation for cancer patients and others whose medical treatment may cause infertility. New York is one of many states where RESOLVE is working to improve access to care for the family building community.
