Association Solutions client RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association rallied the infertility community to make an impact during National Infertility Awareness Week®, April 18 through April 24, 2021. The movement brings together millions of Americans who want to remove the stigmas and barriers that stand in the way of building families. RESOLVE’s focus this year was to raise awareness about the significant lack of access to family building options and emotional support for millions of women and men struggling to build a family. 

Highlights included:

  • Over 125 pieces of content rolled out on social media from the RESOLVE channels.  
  • Barbara Collura, Betsy Campbell, Amanda Rush, and Simmy Bookal participated in webinars, conferences, podcasts, and Instagram Live, representing RESOLVE and speaking on issues covering state legislation, Coverage at Work, access to support, male infertility, and more.  
  • During the  United for RESOLVE Virtual Event, RESOLVE and host, actress and “Egg-vocate,” Kellee Stewart explored how to talk about the issues facing our community with storytelling expert and Senior Peloton instructor, Christine D’Ercole. Advocates who are raising awareness in unique ways will also share their stories. More than 600 attended. 
  • High-profile media coverage, including Today, Good Morning America, and CNN 
  • Chrissy Teigen launched the Fertility Out Loud Campaign alongside RESOLVE and Ferring Pharmaceuticals in order to raise awareness and amplify the fertility conversation 
  • The 2021 Fertility Benefits Survey results were released. It presented new data on attitudes of employers on family building and infertility benefits from Mercer’s National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans. 
  • Members of the infertility community shared their stories and led the conversation about challenges to family building and methods of resolution. 
  • RESOLVE partnered with Infertilidad Latina Podcast, a podcast in Spanish that discusses infertility issues in the Latinx community, to release important RESOLVE resources in Spanish.  
  • The DIY Walk of Hope program was a great vehicle for outreach and donations. There were eleven virtual walks, including three by clinics and one by CooperSurgical. Total revenue is expected to be at least $30,000.
