You may have read in Forbes, The Washington Post, or PCMA that Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. donated 17,000 unused meals to a local shelter in New Orleans after Tropical Storm Barry cut their National Convention short. A strong MCI USA team was in New Orleans providing the event management and housing services and describe the experience as “one for the books.” During this high-pressure situation, starting with the city flooding on Wednesday morning, (main peak arrival) MCI USA talents went “above and beyond” to ensure that all Delta staff and attendees were safe and comfortable.
