Elisa Perodin, CMP, CEM, SVP Association Events, SEM&I, spoke at her local Reston Herndon Meeting Planners Summer Conference. Over 200 attendees — meeting planners and more than 30 suppliers from the metro DC area — attended the event. During the Emergency Preparedness & Event Security general session panel, Elisa discussed various scenarios, the importance of having an emergency plan in place for all events, and how to develop an effective plan.
