In a season built for thanks and celebration, I hope you join me in having much for which to give thanks and celebrate. In 2022, our service lines roared with growth, we’ve added amazing new colleagues to keep pace with client expectations and our positioning for 2023 is promising. Importantly, based on your own feedback through our recently completed global Talent Experience Survey (TES), our US and Global Talent Satisfaction and Net Promoter scores enjoyed significant increases in 2022, for which we are deeply grateful.

This isn’t to suggest 2022 has been easy … we know our dynamic US economy and related work demands affect each of you and recognize the stresses it brings. We work hard to enable flexible workstyles (a decided positive) but must guard against feelings of “living at work” (not good). We try to balance the twin threats of inflationary pressure and recession (the dreaded “stagflation”) and its whipsaw impact. Most important, we must recognize and reward our talents in a complex, unpredictable market, while ensuring delivery of the confident, sustainable business model that is the foundation of our future.

As we complete our talent review cycle in January 2023, I’m confident we will deliver both 2022 results and 2023 actions that will further affirm your decision to be and remain a part of our growing team. On this, I ask that you stay tuned!

In the meantime, it’s my hope that you’re able to take advantage of our holiday office closure (December 23 – January 2), a benefit that I know means so much to our talents. Please use this time for personal focus on the people and things that bring you the greatest joy. I wish for you holidays filled with happiness and peace. As always, thank you for all you do … and all you are.
