What do an Amazon box, a seashell, pajama pants, duct tape, mickey mouse ears, a paintbrush, a theater Playbill, an unused concert ticket, hand sanitizer, canned meat, a video game, a tiger, an NBA jersey, a board game, and a completed crossword puzzle all have in common? Well, these were just a few things the MCI USA Housing Operations & Contracting/Sourcing Team had to find as part of a surprise Virtual Scavenger Hunt during our team meeting.
This activity brought about many laughs and smiles. It also got everyone up and away from their desks while providing about 15 minutes of physical activity. Above all, we learned just how competitive some team members can be and we also learned some great insights about the strategies that some chose to garner the most points possible. Some chose to go for gathering fewer items that yielded higher points while others collected many items that totaled a smaller amount of points. In the end, a fun time was had by all of us.
With a possible total of 200 points up for grabs, it was Jennifer Fisher Gustafson who took 1st place with 153 points. Coming in 2nd place with 108 points was Erica White. And rounding out 3rd place with 100 points was LaTrika Peoples.
Babe Ruth once said, “The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime.”
This team really ROCKS! We all work really hard in our own individual rights, but as a team…we are unstoppable!
