MCI Makes a Big Pink Splash at ASAE18

Thousands of association leaders met at the ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) annual meeting from 18–22 August in Chicago to exchange resources, share best practices, and network. MCI was present in full force with 39 talents from nine office locations including Baltimore, Brussels, Dallas, Dubai, Rio, Sao Paulo, Seoul, Singapore, and Washington; seven sessions in the education program; and a brand-new MCI booth.

MCI’s main business lines were also represented with designated professionals from Association Management & Consulting, Sales, Strategic Event Management & Incentives, and Global Market Development.

The MCI “After Dark” client party on the first evening drew an impressive 160+ clients, partners, and friends for a fun evening of networking and good music.

During the three days of education, networking, prospecting, and pitching, many new business opportunities were identified. MCI talents had productive meetings with clients and leads throughout the event.

A social media campaign to promote MCI sessions, the MCI booth in the expo, and our overall presence took place during the event, with many posts on the various MCI social media channels. One of the LinkedIn posts scored nearly 5,000 views.

Black Flower Agency Activations at New York Fashion Week

Throughout the 2019 Spring/Summer New York Fashion Week, Black Flower Agency spearheaded the event creative, production build, and on-site management for the Saks IT List Townhouse. The “pop-up,” hosted by American Express, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Harper’s Bazaar, was located in Greenwich Village and incorporated not only fashion moments but also social media engagements, private events, and shopping. American Express and SaksFirst Card Members were provided exclusive access to shop the newest accessories and latest fashions while finding themselves immersed in a five-story townhouse where they discovered key trends of the season brought to life:

The evening private events, also coordinated and managed by Black Flower Agency, were attended by a variety of VIPs and celebrities such as Katie Holmes, Caitlyn Jenner, Coco Rocha, Dascha Polanco, Jeremy Scott, Lori Harvey, and Glenda Bailey.

Big Wins for SEM&I

The SEM&I team in Dallas delivered more proposals in the first half of this year than they did all of last year combined. And their hard work has resulted in a full roster of new and renewal business. Here are some of the recent biggest wins:
