This year marked a milestone for the Society of Defense Financial Management’s Data Analytics & Decision Support (DA/DS) Conference. For the first time, DA/DS was co-located with the National Defense Industrial Association’s (NDIA) Emerging Technologies Conference, creating new opportunities for learning, networking and collaboration across the defense community.

Held in Washington, D.C., the combined event welcomed nearly 2,000 attendees and featured senior defense leaders, including The Honorable Jules W. Hurst III, Under Secretary of War (Comptroller)/CFO, and General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The conference explored how data, analytics, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are shaping the future of decision-making across the defense enterprise.

Behind the scenes, MCI, SDFM, NDIA, volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors worked together to successfully launch this new event model and deliver a seamless experience for attendees. The collaboration created a strong foundation for future growth and partnership.
