MCI USA’s Association Solutions client leadership team, along with shared services leaders, gathered in Chicago for a transformative and action-oriented meeting. The event, held March 4-5, focused on the theme of “Transformation and Action.”

The meeting kicked off with a “Fuel-Up Feast,” followed by a welcome and kick-off session led by Carrie Hartin and Amy Lotz, CAE. Sharon Rice from orgSource then presented on the imperative for transformation, the changing association landscape, understanding current culture and leadership’s role in fostering transformation.

The afternoon sessions included discussions on creating trust with boards, volunteers and staff, empowering volunteers and employees for transformation, and implementing the transformation process. The day concluded with a wrap-up session and networking at Haymarket Brewery.

The second day began with a “Morning Mingle” with breakfast, followed by a session on applying design thinking led by Sharon Rice. Sherry Budziak from orgSource then presented on building a culture of transformation and action steps. The meeting wrapped up with MCI updates, including Race to 2030 and AI real-life work, and a reflection and feedback session.

This meeting was a significant step toward driving transformation and action within the organization.
