April is Earth Month, a time to celebrate our planet and act toward a sustainable future. As we honor Earth Day on April 22, it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on the small steps we can take to make a big impact on the environment. Below are resources and ways to get involved this month, in addition to a few other important commemorations.
Earth Month: Taking Action for Our Planet
This month, we focus on practical actions that can help reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainability:
- Reduce waste. Commit to reducing single-use plastics and opting for reusable items. Consider starting a recycling challenge with your team.
- Support sustainable brands. Seek out companies that prioritize sustainability in their practices, from eco-friendly packaging to responsible sourcing.
- Plant a tree. One of the simplest ways to contribute to a healthier planet is by planting a tree. This improves air quality and promotes biodiversity.
- Get involved. Join local environmental clean-ups, virtual workshops or donate to eco-friendly initiatives. Earth Month is the perfect time to take action that benefits the environment and future generations.
